Chinwag has no account to recover and no room code to troubleshoot. Version 1.0 has been submitted to Apple for App Store review.
Download status
Chinwag is not publicly downloadable yet. The App Store link is already prepared and will activate after Apple publishes the listing. There is no Android or browser-play version planned for this release.
Use Chinwag offline
The prompt catalogue is bundled with the iPhone app. Once installed, normal rounds do not require venue Wi-Fi or mobile reception.
Reset pack selection
Return to Packs and tap each pack to select or deselect it. Chinwag remembers the selection on the device. Deleting the app removes its local game state.
Sharing does not open
Chinwag uses the iOS share sheet. If it does not open, close and reopen the app, then try again.
Are some decks paid?
New Friends stays free forever and can start complete offline rounds. From version 1.0.1, Chinwag Plus unlocks the other ten group decks. Planned US pricing is US$4.99 monthly or US$29.99 yearly. Eligible new annual subscribers get seven days free; monthly begins immediately. There is no weekly plan, lifetime purchase or advertising. Purchases can be restored from the paywall.
Use Family Mode
Choose Continue with Family Mode at first launch whenever anyone playing is under 18, or turn it on later from Settings. The app then shows only reviewed New Friends and Family questions, disables Duo, hides purchases and prevents previously selected adult packs from entering a round. On supported Apple devices an under-18 age range applies Family Mode automatically. Chinwag never receives a birthday and does not create child profiles.
A question felt wrong
Skip it immediately. Anyone can pass without giving a reason. Automated checks reject known unsafe patterns and likely duplicates, but context matters. The production catalogue still needs recorded human approval before App Store submission, and feedback from real groups will continue to shape it.
